Our client is looking for a digital designer for a 3 month contract in the Framingham area. The designer will work directly with a Creative Director in creating digital content for social media and emails. Responsibilities include designing across digital platforms; internet, email, and banners. The position will require you to be highly organized and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have a strong knowledge of web based design and know-how to work hand in hand with development and marketing teams. Must have solid people-person & interpersonal communication skills, ability to communicate with other in house designers as well as external retailers and clients.

This position requires proficiency in a mac environment with InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.  Experience in Flash a plus.

• Work with Creative Director to produce and iterate on their design vision
• Take critique and suggestions and implement accordingly
• Follow a design brief and brand identity standards
• Share ideas, expand on vision of the Creative Director when appropriate
• Estimate your hours on specific tasks or projects
• Record hours and tasks daily within Project Portal
• Prepare and optimize graphics for implementation by developers

Requirements:

• Preferable design degree or diploma
• Excellent layout and typography skills
• Solid understanding of UI fundamentals and approach for Web, banners, and emails
• Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign proficiency
• 2-4 years of digital design experience
• Flash a plus
• Strong portfolio and work examples
• Written comprehension skills
