Boston Staffing Firm, Hollister Inc. to Host Pink Slip Networking Function for Massachusett's Unemployed Professionals

April 13, 2009-- Hollister, Inc., a Boston-based full service staffing firm, will be hosting a local networking group this Thursday, April 16. The 175-member organization of unemployed professionals typically holds its meetings in coffee shops and is appropriately called Pink Slip Coffee. Members gather bi-weekly to lend support, exchange ideas and gather information about the current job market. Kip Hollister, founder and CEO of Hollister will be on hand to lend her expertise on market trends, including strategies that job seekers can utilize to position themselves in today's turbulent job market. The group will then break up into the five divisions Hollister employs for: Accounting & Finance, Creative & Marketing, Information Technology, Administrative and Human Resources. Recruiters from each of these divisions will be available for advice and resume critique.
