Hollister Hosts EWMB's Annual Meeting |
6/03/08 Boston, MA – On Tuesday, June 3, 2008, Hollister Inc. opened its doors for Everybody Wins! Metro Boston’s annual meeting. Nearly 100 members of the Boston business community were in attendance for the beer and wine reception, many from companies sponsoring and/or participating in the non-profit’s reading program. Everybody Wins! Metro Boston (EWMB) celebrated a landmark year with more than 500 students participating in the program. Their goal for next year is to serve 750 students.
Everybody Wins! Metro Boston (EWMB) is the Boston-based affiliate of Everybody Wins! USA; a national literacy and mentoring nonprofit organization that increases children’s opportunities for success in school and in life through one-to-one reading experiences with caring adults. In 2006, Hollister partnered with EWMB, opening its doors to the non-profit and donating office space in its Boston headquarters. Since Hollister became involved in EWMB the program has grown nearly 100%. “The company’s support is allowing us to serve more and more children of Boston,” says Darcy Madden, Executive Director of EWMB.
