Boston, MA – October 16, 2008 – Hollister Inc. was named a Finalist in the Community Involvement Program category of the 5th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York on Friday, November 14. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and several other countries are expected to attend. More than 1,200 entries were submitted for consideration in 50 categories, including Best Executive, Best Entrepreneur, and Best Community Involvement Program. Hollister is a Finalist in the Community Involvement Program of the Year category. Hollister Inc. has recently received attention and accolades for its philanthropic efforts and focus on community outreach initiatives. By partnering with local workforce development and education-focused nonprofit organizations, Hollister Inc. strives to build a healthy and diverse workforce in the state of Massachusetts.
