| Avon Walk May 19, 2006 |
 On May 19th, several Hollister employees took the afternoon off in order to volunteer and help with registration for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer held in Boston on May 20-21. This walk was another event that contributed to the efforts made by Hollister’s philanthropy committee this year whose goal was to focus on cancer as one of their focus issues. Hollister volunteers helped to register, meet, greet, and direct the over 2,600 participants that volunteered and walked up to 39.3-miles over Saturday and Sunday. The walk raised $6.3 million that will be donated to various local, regional and national breast cancer organizations in order to support five areas of the breast cancer cause, including awareness and education, screening and diagnosis, access to treatment, support services, and scientific research. |
